"Salt and Sacrifice" is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Ska Studios. It serves as the sequel to the critically acclaimed "Salt and Sanctuary." The game was released on May 10, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows platforms.

In "Salt and Sacrifice," players find themselves in a land plagued by powerful and twisted Mages. They take on the role of Marked Inquisitors, a condemned force tasked with hunting down these Mages. The once-peaceful kingdom is thrown into chaos by the encroaching tides of Mages, who are merciless embodiments of elemental chaos.

As a Marked Inquisitor, players embark on a journey through the western frontier, pursuing, hunting, and obliterating the Mages that roam the realm. The game features intense combat encounters, including multi-stage boss pursuits that culminate in intense arena battles. Players must stalk the Mages, master their unique behaviors, and discover their weaknesses to overcome them.

"Salt and Sacrifice" offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing players to team up with others in their quest. The co-op mode can be played online or locally, enabling players to progress through the entire campaign together. The game expands on the co-op capabilities of its predecessor, offering a more intentional and robust multiplayer experience.

The gameplay of "Salt and Sacrifice" combines action, role-playing, and metroidvania elements. Players can expect challenging combat, character progression, exploration, and a dark fantasy setting reminiscent of the Soulsborne genre.
